I am currently working on a book about Richard Brunton (1749-1832). Brunton was trained as an engraver in Birmingham, England and is best known today for his engraved family registers and for counterfeiting American currency for which he received a two year sentence to Newgate prison, Granby, CT in 1799. Should you own any works by him or know of any prints or plates signed “RB”, R. Brunton”, “Brunton” or “RB” in cipher, please contact me directly. Confidentiality assured. Coffin Family Register
